I have no idea-

I think I’ll enjoy “not knowing or caring” for the next week or so - maybe stretch it into the New Year.

I’ll be posting some cool stuff over the next few weeks. Downtown Dubai vids and a few other personal projects.

The Downtown Dubai Vids will be officially launched on December 15th. I was hired by NYC agency StrawberryFrog to direct/produce 13 short films that took place at 13 pre-determined locations surrounding Downtown Dubai. We shot the 13 vids over a 5 day period in October. We shot the entire project on the 5d (four to be exact) and a 7d.  

I think I have decided not to post my short Pizza Verdi online and go the film festival route instead. If you’re interested in seeing - let me know - I’ll invite you to screening or send you password protected link. I’m hoping to wrap it up by the 15th. 

Sean Garnhart will be doing the sound design/mix for the project over the next few weeks http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0307828/#SoundDepartment He’s amazing and has this incredible home studio located a few blocks from my home. 

The film is about 8 mins long and a good portion of it is silent. There is no soundtrack. Just a Verdi aria sung by one of the main characters. So Sean has his work cut out for him.

The project was co-produced by Alain Boublil. Alain created - wrote the lyrics and book - for the Broadway Smash Les Miserable, Miss Saigon among others. It features the very talented singer/actress Marie Zamora and Broadway star Norm Lewis. Norm is presently starring as Javert on London’s West End production of Les Mis. I’ll also have some new Dwell pieces. One for Corian Dupont that took me to Philadelphia University’s Industrial Design School and another for Philips on innovative lighting designer Leni Schwendinger.

Otherwise, busy being father of three. Loads of work this parenting thing. Not always easy but it has its moments.
